Cindy Williams was born on August 22, 1947, in Van Nuys, California, USA. She is an American actress best known for her role as Shirley Feeney in the 1970s television sitcom "Laverne & Shirley." Williams began her career in the entertainment industry as a stage actress, appearing in numerous productions in Los Angeles. She later transitioned to television and film, making her screen debut in the 1973 film "American Graffiti." In 1976, she was cast as Shirley Feeney in "Laverne & Shirley," a spin-off of the popular TV show "Happy Days." The show was a critical and commercial success, running for eight seasons from 1976 to 1983.
